Those who have decided to visit Tarvisio and its surroundings certainly cannot miss a visit to the Fusine lakes, which offer one of the most spectacular landscapes in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The Fusine lakes are two alpine lakes (Upper and Lower) located in the heart of the Julian Alps and offer visitors a unique spectacle both in summer and winter for their incredible colors.

Not far from the lakes we also find the Peat Bog of Scichizza. An area of 10 hectares that has been a protected area since 1998. It offers the typical peat bog landscape, welcomes many animal species and is also worth a walk.
